Transformer Upgrade & LV Network Improvement – DT-2779
Transformer Upgrade & LV Network Improvement
Project Completed - Q4 2025
Universal Guard was engaged to resolve voltage instability and capacity issues on the DT-2779 network. Through detailed system analysis and design, the project includes upgrading an existing 315 kVA transformer to 500 kVA and installing an additional 315 kVA unit. Long LV runs were reconfigured to reduce voltage drop and balance load distribution.
Key Deliverables:
- PowerCAD-based voltage drop analysis Concept and detailed design (SLDs, site plans, conductor schedules)
- SafeGrid-compliant earthing system
- Project permitting, cost estimation, and full documentation
The upgrade enhances network reliability, capacity, and future demand readiness in line with AS/NZS 7000 and NSP standards.

"Delivering clarity and stakeholder alignment through precision engineering and expert technical analysis."
